Description from Memebox:

This is a Memebox must-have for all you My Cute Wish-list fans out there! You’ll become weak to the knees at the sight of our box full of precious packaging, fun and cheeky names, and all things that are as cute as a button.

If you haven’t already passed out from cuteness overload in our previous My Cute Wish-list boxes, be prepared for a dizzy spell from the explosive levels of adorable in this third box! In all seriousness though, snag the latest addition to the My Cute Wish-list series because it surely will not disappoint.

My parcel took 5 working days to arrive via DHL. I have bundled it with the OMG3 Memebox (reviewed here). Honestly though, the description above claims to make us ‘weak to the knees’ but I was quite disappointed with this box.. Let’s talk about it.

There are 6 items altogether.

1. ddung Family Foam Cleansing Cream (120ml, $12) and I got the 02 Fruits version.

image

ddung (뚱) is apparently the famous doll range in Korea. Big eyes, plump face and other baby features seem to be a hit among some ladies over there and they probably made a range of beauty stuff inspired by that. I think the drawing is cute, but other than that we were probably uninspired by foam cleansers in generic tubes.

The fruits variety contains: plum, grapefruit, peach, apple, tangerine and blueberry. I love the sound of that for a fruit salad, but I think winter are drier months and I would put this up for swaps since foam cleansers do tend to dry my skin out alot.

2. Youngwoosa Oh! It’s Lovely and Soft Cream (45g, $47)

image

I can’t believe this is $47…so I did some digging and found it here for 12,900 retail (approx. $12.90). Not sure how this qualify as cute, but probably the scalloped edge on the box looks cute..?

The cream feels like any standard powdery cream. It smells almost…dermatological. 😛 I smell those every day in the clinic to treat itch and dryness so probably they used the same formulation. This is not bad to have at all. I would use it on my young nephew if he has got rashes on his body due to winter dryness. Lol.

3. Shara Shara Kissing Sugar Lip Scrub (10g, $7)

image

I was excited to try this, but sad that it wasn’t anything miraculous after all. It does feel very balmy like it claims, and tastes sweet too (not that I recommend eating it lol). The scrub contains honey extracts, avocado oil, argan spinosa kernel oil and other vegetable oils.

I’ve used it on my dry lips and it was frustrating to scrub after you have washed your face and used a moisturizer or after makeup, so I advise using it before the whole cleansing process. I would not buy this myself, though it fed my curiosity of Korean lip scrubs.

4. Tony Moly Red Cheek Girl’s patch ($2)

image

Though this is the cheapest item in the box, I think it ranks 1st as the cutest. You gotta agree this one is a great gift for anyone! I would not bear to use this lol~ The hydro gel patches are for soothing dry and rosy cheeks.

Ingredients include rose flower, aloe vera, apricot, cherry blossom, cucumber and green tea extracts. It says to use for 20-30 minutes like any regular masks.

5. Hope Girl Tinted Lip Balm (8g, $12) in 03 Hot Cherry

image

I got the right shade, but I think I have enough lip products to last me a lifetime at the moment, and Hope Girl isn’t a brand I would look forward to try. Other than that, I think somebody might appreciate a nice pink leopard print tub. This is also pretty similar to the Shara Shara lip tint balm (All About Lips Memebox) though that one smells alot nicer.

6. Shara Shara Fairy’s Make-up Synergy Sun Cream SPF45 PA++ (30ml, $21)

image

This was the standout item from the box and people claimed that it looks creepy. Okay, it is not the prettiest but it looks…just plain jane to me. I can’t believe the elaborate packaging for just 30ml of product, and a boring one on top of that.

You can twist it’s upper body to reveal the noozle for the sunscreen. Idk. I don’t think it is cute at all, but I will always need a sunscreen for winter anyways when I go skiing. It claims to be for the face but I will try this on the body instead. Thanks.

Nope. Memebox did not even try for this one. Although it might be an awesome box should it be compared to other subs, it does not live up to the theme and value-wise they should be about $45 in total if I am right. I would not buy another Cute Wishlist as they are declining in cute standards. I’ll put my money to solid food themes and skincare boxes. 🙂

Do check out the other available memeboxes here and use my promo codes. These are good till the end of October I suppose, and gives a discount of $5 off all orders (good for one use each).

    • I think that might be because I got too many boxes..I have been them since February and their promises got me too excited for nothing. 😛 Ahhh.. they did make some promises with the 4th edition. Perhaps I should have gotten those instead.
      Thanks for reading! ❤
