A Quick Shout-out to Jane @mummyisbeauty

This post is dedicated to Jane! ❤ We met in MuT because of Memebox and kept in touch via our Instagram accounts  (@mummyisbeauty) and (@veritazy). She was so kind to offer to send me her Miguhara BP cream which I adore so much– at no cost at all!! Being in the middle of nowhere, this primer is ultra difficult to come by without costing an arm and a leg. This lady is amazing~ 😀

I was so excited when I opened the box to find these treasures! Say whaatt… ❤ Didn’t expect this at all~

Beauteque April BB bag- Mad for Plaid edition

Hi guys~ Bringing you the Beauteque April BB bag- Mad for Plaid edition this time. I personally love plaids! Although the theme does not translate throughout, they did include this very pretty plaid makeup bag which fits everything. 🙂

The bag was scented with honey and on the get go, I fell in love with this; the Holika Holika Honey Sleeping Pack in Blueberry. How can anyone not love honey + blueberry? ❤

The transition into spring did take it’s toll on my skin, and I had dry patches on my cheeks and nose (thanks to allergies) but this pack instantly hydrates my skin and soothes it. Have I already mentioned how divine this smells?

It is of a honey + cream consistency and isn’t as tacky as real honey. You do feel that there is a slight stickiness after application but most of it is absorbed with proper massaging. I have used this almost every other night (using my OST serum + vitamin oil alternately) and my skin is thanking me! 😀

Seeing this It’s Skin Macaron Lip Balm (Grape) is like seeing an old friend to me. I had one a few months ago and received envious stares whenever I whipped it out of my bag.

It smells totally of grape juice and works fine~ I am not a fan of finger-dipping into my skin care but hey, I’ll make do with a packaging as cute as this.

Getting every other color and laying them on a cake tier display for my female guests at my wedding. #ideas #goals

The Mizon Water Volume Aqua Gel Cream is yet another old friend of mine. It is a cooling, hydrating minimalist gel. Pop one in the bag for a quick skin relief after a day under the blazing sun and you’ll see. 😀

Also appreciating the info in English. More companies are adapting to this to help sell worldwide!

I know some may be confused as to why we get a razor in a BB bag but I needed one anyways, so I’m pretty glad to get it. 😛 Why does the girl on the package reminds me of Shara Shara’s sun cream doll.

Probably not the best razor in the world but it is useful~

I have not had many body patch experiences and am willing to try this Holika Holika S Body Jiggle Patch. 

This one is different from the traditional heating types in that it forms carbonated bubbles to help firm up the skin area. You’d have to apply the gel and then patch on for 30-40 minutes. The bubbles produces a tingling sensation- which is probably why this is called a jiggle patch (?).

Well, we know bikini season is coming soon so why not.

Personally not a fan of powder washes because I can’t get over the hassle of preparing a water bath for my face lol.
The Hanaka Camellia Powder wash comes in a pack of 7 and claims to act as an anti-inflammatory and anti-aging wash.

Without a large clean bowl, I might opt for my favourite method; the spritz bottle. We will see..

So far, I have never heard of Hanaka, but Beauteque seemingly wants to introduce us to the brand. They added two masks from them as well: Whitening and Oil-control.

The packaging looks really solid. These are manufactured in Taiwan btw.

I have not given them a shot yet as I was using the sleeping pack, but I might soon.

I love this edition. The honey mask and macaron are my favourite (I may have arranged my posts in the order of fav to least fav items). ❤ I am never a huge fan of masks because I don’t have the time to indulge in them, but the rest of the bag I would definitely use. 😀

We are always discovering new things from these BB bags, and I find them to be of good value as long as I get one new product to love. The bags they come in are also great to have for any occasion, and to house skin care gifts for friends and family~ 🙂

Beauteque Head to Toe April 2015 Bag- Tony Moly

I’m so chuffed to have discovered this bag at my door yesterday! It is the Beauteque Head to Toe April 2015 Bag and this time around, they are featuring 7 Tony Moly products~ ❤

Who doesn’t love the cute products of Tony Moly, right? 🙂

The Tony Moly Face Mix Primer Lip Concealer is a product I cannot wait to try because I have been using other primers and they dry my lips a little. Korean swatches tend to be of those pretty pale-gradient-ombre lips and I guess this would help a lot to reproduce the same effect!

It is packaged like a little lip balm.

On swatch it looks so much lighter than my skin. It is definitely like a lip balm + concealer. I can’t comment on how it perform yet, but if I like it I will review it with the Face Mix concealer which I am using regularly at the moment! 😀

Very happy to have received this in a Head to Toe bag~

Next up is a product I have tried and loved. It is the Tony Moly Tangerine Whitening Hand cream. Can I tell you, this smells absolutely divineeee~

Can I have a basket of these on display? Just staring at the cute fruits are therapeutic enough. 😛

In case you are curious, this smells alot like the Yeon hallabong products. Tangerines tend to be less sour/ citrusy compared to oranges or lime, and have a unique fragrance to them. The consistency is like something in between body butter and lotion. It doesn’t contain alot of products, but all is good when it looks that cute, no? 🙂

I have also tried this Strawberry seeds 3-step nose pack awhile ago. What it is is a blackhead treatment for the nose area; 1. To open up pores and loosen the dirt and all. 2. A nose strip that helps pull out all the gunk. 3. Soothing pack that calms the skin and shrinks pores.

Ingredients and instructions;

Many companies have been making these 3-steps nose product. I love it. It’s my guilty pleasure; seeing those suckers getting yank out. Guaranteed satisfaction..

I have also tried this Gold Black Sugar mask scrub before. It is perhaps a dupe of the Skin Food’s black sugar mask and it doesn’t quite measure up but it works well to exfoliate.

It smells of burnt caramel sauce. Yum!

It’s all gooey and sweet like a jam and you can’t resist but to taste it. But please do not consume your skin care 😛

This cute lips is actually the Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip scrub! It’s about time to get a lip scrub because I own a gazillion lip products and everytime you put on a really nice color, you have to make sure there aren’t any chappy bits showing~

I know this won’t last me long at all, but I might repot something else into this lip casing afterwards. It does not smell of anything in particular. ❤

Next are two heart pumice stones. I would never thought of picking up pumice stones for myself but this is a cute addition!

Instruction says to wet feet and scrub to remove rough skin. Might do this since summer is approaching and that spells sandals season!

I don’t know what to make of the Tony Moly Make HD straight cream because I don’t want to have straight hair….probably I can pass this on to someone else who does.

This bag is adorbs. It is that close to perfection but misses out on the random hair cream thing.  I love the hand cream, primer and nose pack, and don’t mind the rest as I would use them. 😀 That drawstring bag it came in is super useful as well! I will be storing my bendable flats/ beachwear/ sunnies in it~ ❤
