Ahoj~ I’ve gotten this Beauteque Head to Toe Breakfast bag last week and given some of it a try. It looks promising at first glance. I know I would love at least half of it already. ❤ You can still get this on Beauteque.com or if you are more interested in monthly subs then take a look at their Beautequemonthly.com site 😀 (more at the bottom of this post~) The info card showing the product names and directions of use;
This time, Beauteque gave us a blue floral zip-around bag. It fits everything!
There is also a handle on top. I have not used a bag like this since….idk. If you would put in those insulating foams, this will work as a picnic lunchbag too~ 😉
Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk ($10)
I was most excited for this hand cream. You probably know that I am a sucker for hand creams and beautiful packaging so this is a killer combo!
Screw-top banana that dispenses banana cream? 😀 It smells like those artificial banana essence used to make banana cakes/ breads but I don’t really mind it.. Texture wise this is abit like body butters rather than cream.
Its a shame one tube contains so little product and is not really reusable (I always clean and refill my fruit containers). However, I would recommend this as a gift to anyone! It is pretty novel and the hand cream isn’t bad. 🙂
Skin Food Bath Fizzer ($12)
I don’t have a bath tub here in my student accommodation, but I could always use an excuse to find one 😛 I love bath fizzers/salts/bombs! This one is in Green Tea (chosen from other options) and packaged in an egg tray. Points for creativity!
It does not smell like most green tea products at all in its solid form. This bath fizzer smells more herbal/organic and can come off too strong for some. I can’t describe exactly– this scent is a hit or miss.
The fizzers contains green tea powder rich in catechin and polyphenol, plus they add luster and resilience to skin. I am tempted to try the other types— honey jasmine and peppermint sounds lovely!
Etude House Sunshine in Spoon Scrub massage Yoghurt ($6)
This is a product that I have tried in the past but don’t mind getting again. They come in various types; Sugar Apple and Raspberry. I love both flavors equally and can’t say which is better…Both smells delicious. 😛
As the name suggests, this is a gentle scrub which requires a couple of minutes of massaging. After cleansing, your skin will feel smooth and supple.
Ingredients list can be found here. If you love yoghurt products that smells so good that they are almost edible, I suggest checking out Innisfree’s yoghurt packs and Laneige’s multiberry yoghurt sleeping packs. Those are my top 2 yoghurt loves~ ❤
Too Cool For School Egg Cream Mask ($5)
There is a bloom of basic pantry ingredients products lately- egg, mayonnaise, sugar, salt. You name it. It may sound iffy at first but some of those do work for me!
And don’t worry, this one does not smell of poultry or rotten eggs at all! Amazingly it is also free of paraben, mineral oils, benzopenone-9, and triethanolamine, making the mask suitable for sensitive skin.
I do think anyone who wants brighter skin should try this. Another product from this range which I felt was worth trying is their Mousse Pack.
They were some of TCFS’s bestsellers.
I love TCFS for their whimsical and original designs. I bet many do too, and that prompts counterfeiters to mass-produce fakes to sell on Ebay. Please be aware~ Thankfully, we can trust Beauteque for their authentic product curations.
Echoice Fermented Tea Drinks Sleeping Pack ($12)
I have had another tube of this sleeping pack and used more than half of it already. While it contains all the goodness of jasmine, rose and green tea, this pack is incredibly mild. Not that it does nothing, but it puts on a coat to protect the skin against drying in the driest of winter.
Texture wise, it is a lucent cream which spreads like watery gel. It does not smell of anything in particular…probably only slightly of tea.
I would not say this is an amazing product. it did not wow me but I would still use it once in awhile…like vaseline lol. E choice produces some really cheap but okay products. Their marketing strategy seems to be to promote a “Good price market” standpoint (similar to the next product by Evas). Most of their hand creams, cleansers etc are only $2-5! 😀
Evas Vitamin Cleansing Foam ($10)
I had hopes for this…but the reviews were not promising. The lovely girls of Reddit and MuT investigated the pH and found that this was pH10– too alkaline for the skin. 😦 I am not huge on pH but I know that 10 is incredibly high. Oddly though, this claims to contain vitamins, AHA etc and I would have assumed that this is slightly acidic but thats not the case.
First impressions seemed to be alright but urgh I will not be using this myself.
I don’t know if anyone would…this will go into my free items stash.
I like Evas. I mean, they make some really good products like the MaRait perfumes and Kiss the Perfume cherry blossom hair stuff. This just isn’t it.
Lastly, Beauteque’s lifestyle product this month: a cherry apron! That was quite unexpected.
I lol-ed at the price marked for each products. They tallied up to an RRP of around $25 + some shipping. I do think this one had the lowest retail price of all the bags I have received before…I didn’t mind that because I love the first three products and think that the beauty bag serves a purpose: for us to discover things that we otherwise wouldn’t buy for ourselves.
Kudos to the team for putting up a mix of products each time. Would you purchase this bag for the fun of it? You can get the regular BB bags and other product offers here: Beauteque.com (also sign up immediately for a $3 rebate) or find their other monthly subscriptions at Beautequemonthly.com. For mask lovers, rejoice because Beauteque is now offering Mask Maven too (10 mask/ month sub)!

This bag was sent for review purposes but the opinions are honest and true to my experience.
