Mini Testerkorea Haul #1

So I was on hiatus for a bit and was testing out recent skincare stuff when my retail addiction bug bit me. I went on several online shops in search of some BB cushions and landed in Testerkorea as their prices seem very decent (even when shipping is added). Since my country’s customs allow less than $30, I didn’t want to take the risk and bought under that limit. It was my first haul and I didn’t want to be slapped with extra fees.

Here are the details to my order (made from Central Europe);
Order date: Saturday 1/11/2014
Shipped: Wednesday 5/11/2014
Arrived: Wednesday 12/11/2014

I am extremely impressed. The order did take awhile to be packed and completed (given I ordered it during the weekends), but shipping only took a week! 🙂

In case you are worried, small items are packed into approx 15cmx 9cmx 6cm boxes and labelled as “Fancy goods” at $20 value. lol! I love that phrase 😛

The box was no bigger than my 2 palms but they manage to squeeze everything in professionally, with free samples, bubble wraps and packing ribbons ❤

Well, my first mini haul consists of;

Name Price(won) Qty Total(won)
TOTAL 26,760
INNISFREE Ampoule Intense Cushion SPF34 PA++ 15g 20,000 1 20,000
Y.E.T Pretty Mini Eyelash Curler 1,500 1 1,500
MISSHA Oil control Film 50ea 1,760 1 1,760
Y.E.T Oil Control Film 100pcs 1,500 1 1,500
It’s Skin Babyface Natural Eyebrow 0.3g 2,000 1 2,000

Shipping costed me 4,380 won.

Everything totaled 31,140 won or  $31.78 (Testerkorea’s conversion $1= 980won).

Lets get to the unboxing already!

I bought like 5 items only (other than the BB cushions others are just small additions). 🙂

This is the new Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cushion SPF34 PA++ 15g. I will write a whole review post about this soon! Need to test run it for several days at least before I can conclude anything 😉

I am very excited to try it. Innisfree has great reputation when it comes to cushions and this 2014 new arrival claims to ‘offer moisture and dewiness up to 24 hours in order to fight the dryness of the winter.’ It is just what I need now that the weather is changing. Other sites were selling this for $24 at least, so even with shipping this is still a little cheaper ($20.40).

Just added this because my old lash curler’s silicone strip is like coming off. The Y.E.T Pretty Mini Eyelash Curler is a portable version of the normal lash curlers. Too bad it makes a squeaky sound when I clamped my lashes. It will take awhile to get use to this…I don’t think it is a good curler. It was cheap tho, at $1.53.

I also needed a new eyebrow pencil (with brush) so I went around the site for abit and found this It’s Skin Babyface Natural Eyebrow 0.3g for only $2.04! Mine is the 02 Deep brown.

The manufacture date 제조 was labeled as 20140929 so freshness is guaranteed! So just fyi 까지 or anything that is not that two words for manufactured means expiration 🙂

I also picked up 2 oil control films because I usually use these to fix/mattify my makeup (makeup base-> facial mist-> blotting paper). It’s my personal trick but I am just too cheap for a makeup fixer spray 😛

The Missha Oil control Film (50ea) is only $1.80 and it looks like it is of decent quality as compared to the other pack I bought;

Okay, this Y.E.T Oil Control Film (100pcs) is hands down the cheapest blotting paper I have seen on the site ($1.53) but it is as thin as a brown baking paper and I think for use-and-throw, I don’t mind the quality. I just need something to get my shine off!

And huzzah! They were so generous to throw in 5 packets of samples. I love samples. Who doesn’t? 3 of them are from Skinfood too ❤

I would most definitely buy from Testerkorea again, and I have already put through another order lol! My only peeve is that they advertised for a free gift (first purchase) but it wasn’t included. I hate it when companies run a long event and doesn’t take down the banner after the deal is gone, just so that they can rake in more profits. Oh well…

Stay tuned for for my Innisfree cushion review~ I’m excited to try it out asap 🙂

Blithe Patting Water Purple Rejuvenating Berry review! ♥

 블라이드 리쥬브네이팅 퍼플베리 워터팩

I am misting away again with my Blithe Patting water. My previous bottle was the Healing & Soothing Green Tea (used up almost half of that) and I slowly changed up my routine to test this purple one. I have reviewed the other one and wrote about how to make the misting pack here.

I bought my purple bottle from Memeshop at $27 while it was on sale, and added 3 packs of Purederm nose strips at $1 each to be able to qualify for free shipping (VIP code). It was quite a steal! ^_^

The order did take awhile to arrive but I wasn’t impatient about it because I had the other bottle to use anyways. This one came in a box, professionally bubble-wrapped and all!

There is also a small pamphlet not included with my previous bottle (KMW1). Well, in case you read Korean alphabets, I thought I should post it..

I just love the color of this bottle and its simplistic design~

There is also a hidden flap for instructions etc, but here it is again in English;

1. Prepare a basin and add clean water until 1/3 full
2. Add 1 cap of your choice of a Patting Water Pack to dilute with water (ratio 1:100)
3. Mix and gently pat the diluted concentration onto the skin.
4. Let it dry naturally or gently pat with a facial towel.

Never will I use the “sink way” because I feel icky about cleaning my sink for this and I can never find those Asian pails/basin for face wash here..

This resulted in me making another mist out of this patting water pack; this time with the Ariul Spa Water Refreshing Mist from the Earth and Sea Memebox I have purchased last month.

I have half a bottle left, so I thought it would make a perfect experimental mist. 🙂 After all, I know what the mist could do for my skin and I can weigh out how adding the Blithe patting water would help.

About 3 caps in and shake shake~ 🙂

That Ariul mist is tinted blue and only when I tilt it do I see the purplish mist in it. ❤

Smell: Smells like the artificial grape scent from Asian blackcurrant syrups or the Mirinda Grape flavored carbonated drinks. I am used to these flavors as a child and I liked how it smells frankly. Not bothered by it at all, although some may think this is too sweet.

Results: My skin feels softer the night after I use it. As with the green one, this purple pack moisturizes with micro amount of oil–it is like using a sheetl/sleeping mask with some facial oil in it. The purple one is slightly stickier than the green and gives you bouncier, soft skin rather than oil/blemish control. I would advise those with sensitive/oily skin to use the Healing & Soothing one instead and this purple one if you are not having any active acne problems or entering your 30s. Both do what they claim to do and I’m totally impressed!

Verdict: I like this pack alot, though not as much as I love the green one. It is a personal preference of course, and I think the other suited my skin better. I think Blithe has changed my skincare game and my skin never felt better after using both these products for almost 2 months now! I like how it speeds up the process of a normal face mask to just a couple of minutes. Give it a try if you haven’t, because I think frequent use will make your skin fab!

You can purchase the Blithe Patting Water Purple Rejuvenating Berry at the Memeshop with my affiliate’s link + $5 off $30 code HVLNVV or at at a sale price of $26.60 (current 8/11).

Have you tried the Blithe products yet? What are your thoughts about it?

Oh my god, it is the 3rd edition of the Memebox OMG!

Thank god for DHL’s express shipping! The Memebox OMG 3 was shipped on the 15th October and I have received it in 4 days. I bet it could have been faster if there were no weekends. 😛

Anywho, this is a theme curated to make us memefans drop our jaw, but was it anywhere near OMG? Let’s find out!

The box contains 5 products altogether. The box smells like ginseng when I opened it. Not sure if the smell came from the Makgeolli soap or platinum pack. :O

My fav item was this Migabee Bee Venom & Honey cream (50ml, $54). It is pretty heavy for a 50ml cream! The cream has no particular scent and has a taupe-white color. It absorbs upon spreading, without leaving a greasy feel. The previous bee venom product I have tried is the Secret Key one and I experienced no irritating outcomes so I am free to try this! 🙂

I have seen their products on various sites like Gmarket, Rakuten and their main company website. I applaud them for originality and their products feels very luxurious. The price points are also higher than some Memebox products we have seen in the past. This cream retails for about $40!

I will definitely keep this product and use it during the winter months! They do have many other products of the same Anti-pollution/ Bee line range (click pic at the bottom to access page) and I won’t mind getting them at all in future boxes.

The Migabee pore set seems to be the Blackheads Out box spoiler. I didn’t get that one, but envy those who did! This one is at least worth $18.

Next product is the spoiler product: Cleomee Three-layer Perfume Donkey Oil Mist (100ml, $59). It is also a full-sized item! We have gotten the Cleomee body lotion in the Cafe box and I think Donkey seems to be the IT trend in Korea or at least memebox at the moment. 😛

I assure you this smells nothing like donkey. It is a tricolored oil mist that has to be shaken before use. The oil hydrates your skin and provide all the benefits of EGF, donkey milk and more.  It seems that 500ml of donkey milk provides the equivalent nutrition of 30-60kg of cow’s milk!

Check out the ingredients and facts sheet here.

Tosowoong is no longer an unknown brand to us memeaddicts. We have seen many products from them, both skincare and makeup alike. The Platinum Pore Tightening pack (150ml, $19) seems to be quite omg because it claims to contain platinum gold and tea tree oil, but the price is rather affordable.

This pack is actually chocolate colored and perfect for those suffering from blackhead troubles. They should have included the printed advert leaflet because the pics are more OMG than the product itself.

I would give this a try if my skin acts up. I suspect this is the product that emits the herbal smell of the box. Maybe its the tea tree oil.

They say you can’t drink and drink but the never say you can’t use a drink to bathe. The On the Body Makgeolli (rice wine) soap (85g, $12) is a pretty OMG product for me, though not too surprising. We are very popular with beers in Czech rep and I have seen many beer-themed bath products here.

The soap does not smell too fermented or nasty at the moment. I might need to use it to give a proper review, but I am not a soap person. 😛 Gels ftw!

This brand is produced under LG care (yes, the electronic company) and in case you read Hangul, here’s the company webpage.

This last product is no ordinary one. It is the TonyMoly Delight tint crayon in 06 Neon Pink (2.8g, $8). It claims to glow-in-the-dark under strobes light. The crayon is definitely an OMG to me but I am not much of a party-goer so this might sit in my pouch for awhile before I could test it out.

Everything totaled up to a memevalue of $152, and I think this is definitely worth about $70 to me.

I think the OMG series has potential, and although they are not always a huge OMG, the products are almost often great and rave-worthy. I would pick up the OMG4 if I have the moolah!

This box cost me less than $30 because I bundled it with the My Cute Wishlist 3 and added on points + codes.

Eyeing this set! ❤

Do check out the other available memeboxes here and use my promo codes. These are good till the end of October I suppose, and gives a discount of $5 off all orders (good for one use each).

You may also find all the other Memeboxes with it’s shipping date and all the promo codes you need on this memebox-dedicated page.
At the meantime, happy memeshopping! ♥
