Beauteque Head to Toe April 2015 Bag- Tony Moly

I’m so chuffed to have discovered this bag at my door yesterday! It is the Beauteque Head to Toe April 2015 Bag and this time around, they are featuring 7 Tony Moly products~ ❤

image

Who doesn’t love the cute products of Tony Moly, right? 🙂

image

Info-card;

image

The Tony Moly Face Mix Primer Lip Concealer is a product I cannot wait to try because I have been using other primers and they dry my lips a little. Korean swatches tend to be of those pretty pale-gradient-ombre lips and I guess this would help a lot to reproduce the same effect!

image

It is packaged like a little lip balm.

image

On swatch it looks so much lighter than my skin. It is definitely like a lip balm + concealer. I can’t comment on how it perform yet, but if I like it I will review it with the Face Mix concealer which I am using regularly at the moment! 😀

image

Very happy to have received this in a Head to Toe bag~

Next up is a product I have tried and loved. It is the Tony Moly Tangerine Whitening Hand cream. Can I tell you, this smells absolutely divineeee~

image

Can I have a basket of these on display? Just staring at the cute fruits are therapeutic enough. 😛

image

In case you are curious, this smells alot like the Yeon hallabong products. Tangerines tend to be less sour/ citrusy compared to oranges or lime, and have a unique fragrance to them. The consistency is like something in between body butter and lotion. It doesn’t contain alot of products, but all is good when it looks that cute, no? 🙂

I have also tried this Strawberry seeds 3-step nose pack awhile ago. What it is is a blackhead treatment for the nose area; 1. To open up pores and loosen the dirt and all. 2. A nose strip that helps pull out all the gunk. 3. Soothing pack that calms the skin and shrinks pores.

image

Ingredients and instructions;

image

Many companies have been making these 3-steps nose product. I love it. It’s my guilty pleasure; seeing those suckers getting yank out. Guaranteed satisfaction..

I have also tried this Gold Black Sugar mask scrub before. It is perhaps a dupe of the Skin Food’s black sugar mask and it doesn’t quite measure up but it works well to exfoliate.

image

It smells of burnt caramel sauce. Yum!

image

It’s all gooey and sweet like a jam and you can’t resist but to taste it. But please do not consume your skin care 😛

This cute lips is actually the Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip scrub! It’s about time to get a lip scrub because I own a gazillion lip products and everytime you put on a really nice color, you have to make sure there aren’t any chappy bits showing~

image

*swoons*

image

I know this won’t last me long at all, but I might repot something else into this lip casing afterwards. It does not smell of anything in particular. ❤

Next are two heart pumice stones. I would never thought of picking up pumice stones for myself but this is a cute addition!

image

Instruction says to wet feet and scrub to remove rough skin. Might do this since summer is approaching and that spells sandals season!

I don’t know what to make of the Tony Moly Make HD straight cream because I don’t want to have straight hair….probably I can pass this on to someone else who does.

image

Instructions;

image

It smells quite potent. :O

image

This bag is adorbs. It is that close to perfection but misses out on the random hair cream thing.  I love the hand cream, primer and nose pack, and don’t mind the rest as I would use them. 😀 That drawstring bag it came in is super useful as well! I will be storing my bendable flats/ beachwear/ sunnies in it~ ❤

You can get the Head to Toe or regular BB bags, and other product offers here: Beauteque.com (also sign up immediately for a $3 rebate) or find their other monthly subscriptions at Beautequemonthly.com. For mask lovers, rejoice because Beauteque is now offering Mask Maven too (10 mask/ month sub)!

Beauteque Sweethearts February BB Bag review

image

Yes, it is nearing the end of March, but this bag is too awesome to not be reviewed! 😛 The Beauteque Sweethearts February BB Bag features a sweet, sweet beauty collection in conjunction with valentines~ ❤

image

This bag contains 8 products altogether, including a lifestyle product!

image

Before reviewing each products, lets talk about how convenient this makeup pouch is. It is padded on the outside making it super useful to store eye shadows, bronzers and press powders, and it has two pockets on the inside so we don’t have to fumble about to look for that brow pencil or nose strip etc. 😀

image

Definitely making into my top 3 pouches received from Beauteque so far~ ❤

The Echoice Peptide Cream ($14.99) is simply an all-in-one cream that promises to moisturize and firm up the skin after cleansing and toning. It comes in a no-frill drugstore-like design.

image

image

The tube was unsealed and pumps out immediately after I unscrewed the cap. It’s a white cream that feels a tad heavier than some moisturizers that I normally use… almost hand-cream-like. There is also a slight fragrance to it, which does not bother me. What does is the feeling that this could be too much if you use an essence/ ampoule/ lotion beneath. I would say just use this alone after toning.

image

I have not seen much changes after using, but I guess we should give it some time, yes?

The Tony Moly Petit Art Perfume Mist in fresh green ($12) is probably my favourite item in this bag! It is an absolute fabulous find because of how lovely it smells. I can’t describe it well enough…perhaps green tea + green apple + grass or something fresh. Anywho, I’m spritzing this like crazy and looking to buy a backup already~ ❤ ❤

image

I’m pretty sure that girl illustrated looks familiar….

image

It is after all lots of ester (chemistry yo) contributing to the scent, but be aware that lavender extract is also listed as one of ingredients to those ladies who are allergic to it.

I’m curious as to how the other variations would smell but I really love this one. Garh… ❤

It’s Skin Mango White Lip and Eye Remover ($5) comes in a pack of 15 and reminds me very much of the Skinfood seaweed one I have purchased awhile ago. It is an oil-type remover unlike cleansing tissues. So just to be sure you are picking up the right one, if you see “lip and eye” chances are they are oil-type removers.

image

And I’m pretty certain they meant mangosteen from that illustration rather than mangos. Entirely different fruit (not that I can pick up the smells any way…).

image

They work fine, and smell alright but I don’t fancy the oily sensation personally. It makes my eyes water a little (like the oil+powder gokmul toner everyone likes). I think my eyes has aversion to oil and alcohol or something XP

I am, however, deeply in love with the Herb Day cleansing ones also received from a Beauteque bag before ❤ Repurchased!

The Skinfood Black bean Eye Brow Pencil ($11) has also made it to my staple list. I find it very useful to have two sides: a drawing charcoal and a brow brush.

image

image

I think this might take awhile to run out like most Korean brow pencils. I do have pretty unruly brows and am using out my browcaras. 😛

I would have personally purchased this A’Pieu Non Co Tea Tree Emulsion ($12.99) to satiate my curiosity but thankfully received one instead in a BB bag! It was so cheap on another shopping site and I wondered if it will actually work.

image

I had not have a chance to try this yet,… (using up my Tosowoong Tea tree lotion first) but I will, soon!

image

It is 150ml of presumably good stuff and right for my age group too. Fingers crossed~

Beauteque also added in 2 masks for this bag;

Humanpia Costech Arbutin Essence Mask

Apparently good for restoring elasticity, brightening and firming the skin.

image

It has Japanese on the back of it but instructions are otherwise the same. 15-20 minutes is all it needs. Am pretty sure this is from Korea but probably a repackaged version to sell to Japanese women.

image

NextBeau Moisture/ Collagen Aqua Mask

The description is pretty funny: Collagen makes the skin moisturized for a long time as abundant moisture sensation by containing collagen; but all is well…we Europeans mostly don’t speak English as out first language either. 😛

image

image

No surprises here…the same instructions as usual.

The Etude House Collagen Eye Patch ($3.99) is not a stranger in my vanity. My mum hoards these eye patches and I steal them from her refrigerator stash because they soothe my computer eyes~

image

image

Another surprisingly lovely find is this Hair Spa towel ($9.99) which I have been using since the day I received this bag! I had one similar one from Daiso Japan and that one is in rags due to overuse lol. This makes me so happy because I was about to go on a terry cloth hair towel hunt~ Thumbs up for Beauteque’s curation! ❤

image

This bag has to be one of the best so far with 3 items already making into my routine staples list, not to mention that pouch housing all the goodies! I think I like this more than the January or March ones ❤ ❤ I am sniffing that fresh green perfume mist like a glu sniffer while typing this all the while..argh love!

image

You can get the regular BB bags and other product offers here: Beauteque.com (also sign up immediately for a $3 rebate) or find their other monthly subscriptions at Beautequemonthly.com. For mask lovers, rejoice because Beauteque is now offering Mask Maven too (10 mask/ month sub)!

Beauteque Head to Toe Milk Bag review

image The bag which I was waiting for is finally here~ The Beauteque Head to Toe Milk Bag is a limited edition bag sold on their main company site Beauteque.com. This bag in particular is sold out due to its popularity but do check out all the other available ones here— dare I recommend you the Head to Toe Breakfast bag? It’s awesome, I promise ❤ I am quite pleased with the info-cards included this time around. They seem to be of upgraded quality. The Beauteque postcard (with a hand-written note by Miss Elina) in which she politely apologized for the logistic problems faced by the company earlier this year had a laminated side to it 🙂 I’m glad shipping has been sorted out, for me at least.

image

This bag contains a total of 7 full-sized products, themed Milk! I was super stoked when I heard about this bag. It definitely did not disappoint. 😉

That black and white woven bag housing all the goodies (except the huge pack of fluffy sponges) is pretty solid. It is of very decent quality and doesn’t smell! Score. 😀 This could very well be one of my favourite, if not the best makeup bag that I have gotten so far~

image

It plays very well to the color of cows as well hehe..

Somang Beauty Credit Milk Hand Cream 80ml ($6.50)

Beauteque clienteles got to choose between this or the Secret Key hand cream but I chosen this one because I have tried Secret Key’s perfumed hand creams before and thought it would be nice to be able to compare them both. I would say they are comparable in terms of moisture and both smells equally good, although the Secret Key one does seem a little richer and lasts longer.

image

This hand cream smells alot like baby powder- the pleasant kind, not the old lady sort. 🙂

image

It dispenses as a semi-lucent cream and blends without leaving any oily residue. Ingredients include: 800mg of Milk extract, shea butter, olive oil and allantoin.

image

Obviously this is not strong enough for really dry skin…but my hand does feel soft after using so I have no complaints about this at all! I am a total sucker for hand creams and have 20 opened ones lying about at one time so they are always welcomed in my bags/hauls. You can PM me for recommendations lol!

Milk Wash Off Sponge ($10)

it is not everyday that we see facial sponges in subs/boxes so this is a really nice surprise! Look at how cute the packaging is~ ❤

image

I left mine to soak in warm water because of the slight smell it has..not sure if the flight has anything to do with that. However, they are sooooo soft and dense at the same time. I can almost feel as if I was using an unmeltable marshmallow to cleanse LOL~

image

This might work well with the next product (cleanser) and my beauty friend, Mummyisbeauty did recommend using them to remove mud masks. That’s genius! More economical than cotton pads and less harsh too~ I will also experiment them on the TFS massaging cream which i have gotten from the previous Beauteque bag too!

Skinfood Wildberry Milk Cleansing Foam ($12)

This reminds me very much of the Hada Labo AHA/BHA cleansing foam which I adore alot. It is similar texture-wise, but this smells divine although it looks deceivingly plain. 😛

image

150ml will last you forever perhaps because all you need is a pea size and some water to create enough foam for your face! It is a white, pearly, paste-like cleanser and contains moisturizing milk extracts plus various anti-oxidant agents. hmmm~ ❤

image

I can’t fault it at all, it removes makeup nicely. I wish my phone is waterproof but it isn’t so you would have to take my word for it. 😀 Thumbs up!

Secret Key Milk Brightening Toner ($19)

I am totally backlogged with toners so I won’t be opening this one for awhile… Honestly though, I love Secret Key products and I think most kbeauty bloggers would share my opinion on this one. They make some really great products marketed at affordable price tags. 🙂

image

This bottle apparently contains colostrum (thats like breast milk for you haha) that has skin growth factor, natural protein and natural AHA, so it is effective for skin brightening. Its abundant vitamin, minerals and ion are helpful for enhancing skin immunity. Various other ingredients (yes, it has 15 botanical extracts in it!) also help balance and moisturize the skin.

image

This toner is a slightly milky liquid that absorbs quickly onto the skin. Last I checked, it is free of the 5 harmful ingredients including mineral oils, paraben, animal oils, yadah yadah…

image

I’m pretty sold on this bottle and hear all the good things about it so far! Mine expires in 2017 (phew) — I also checked all the other products from this Beauteque bag and they are still fresh from Korea! ❤

Skinfood Shea Butter Milk Lip Care Balm ($7)

It’s always great to have another product from Skinfood. This lip balm promises to take care of chapped, cracked, dry lips. No explanations needed!

image

Somang Danahan Milk Mask ($3)

I still prefer sleeping packs over sheet masks but I will give this a try soon, especially on drier days.

“This milk essence mask contains 110mg milk extracts, it helps to maintain skin moisture level and brings long lasting hydration to the skin. It leaves the skin soft, smooth and supple.”

image

Like most face masks, you’d put the mask on cleansed and toned face and then leave it for 15 minutes before peeling off and massaging the leftover essence into the skin.

image

Skinfood Milk Creamy Nail Polish ($8.50)

Okay, I have tried many Skinfood nail polish before and this is the worst one, I fear. 😦 The color does not flatter me at all–unless I am heading to the clubs, and it neither dry nor apply easily.

image

I do love the grip on the cap though.

image

The outcome is a huge siggghhhh. I do think Skinfood’s vita nails range are much better. Not sure why this one is so runny and bleh.

___

I may or may not have ranked the bag contents according to my favorite to least favorite item on first (or second) impression. I really can’t decide which I would love more among the top 4 tbh! ❤

image

This bag totaled up to $66 in Beauteque pricing but I think it is closer to $40 but that still makes it a great deal for only $26++ plus shipping. You can get an extra $2 off with the code LUCKY2 for Saint Patrick’s day (they have constant deals on their site if this expires).

You can get the regular BB bags and other product offers here: Beauteque.com (also sign up immediately for a $3 rebate) or find their other monthly subscriptions at Beautequemonthly.com. For mask lovers, rejoice because Beaeteque is now offering Mask Maven too (10 mask/ month sub)!

Some of you may be confused if you are new to Beauteque. They have two separate sites: one is the main company site where you can find all the older BB bags/ Head-to-toe bags/ Blogger collaborations. The other site, beautequemonthly.com is for their regular monthly subscription. For all bags, shipping applies according to countries. 🙂
